BI Shipping Society is a society for students at BI Business School of Management, who are interested in the maritime business, perticularly shipping. We focus on involving ourself and having a genuine interest about the shipping business and learn more about what the possibilities are for both ourself and in the business in general.

Through lectures, business presentations, our relations in shipping and existing members, we create a social and stimulating environment with focus on shipping. Amongst other things, BI Shipping Society has created “Shipping day” which we arrange every fall, which is a day filled with promenent and interessting people from the business, who talk about their companies and developements within the market. Our Society is also a social arena where we create events where we can make new friends and acquaintances.
BI Shipping Society offers:
  • Presentations surrounding the maritime industry
  • Close contact with YoungShip, the shipping business’ own interest organisation.
  • Trips to destinations like London, Holland, Singapore, etc
  • Posibilities to be involved and engaged in shipping besides the studies.
  • Last, but not least, a good social environment 🙂
